General questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Amplify Outdoor Solutions is licensed and insured, so your property is covered while our crew is working on it. We do not handle fertilization or chemical weed control, which require a separate South Carolina pesticide applicator license.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Greenville and the surrounding Upstate, including Greer, Simpsonville, Easley, Spartanburg, Duncan, Taylors, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, and Piedmont. Greenville is our primary service area.
How do you price your services?
We give you a flat price based on the property, not a vague hourly guess. For recurring lawn service that is a per-visit price that stays the same. For projects like mulch, aeration, or sod, it is based on square footage or volume. You get the number before we start.
Do you offer recurring service?
Yes. Most of our lawn clients are on a weekly or every-other-week schedule. Recurring clients get a set service day, priority on the route, and a better per-visit rate than one-time work.
Do I need to be home when you come?
No. As long as we can access the yard and any gates are unlocked, you do not need to be home. We reach out if anything comes up that needs your input.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
We move you to the next dry day on the route, usually within a day or two. We do not mow soaked lawns, because wet grass tears and the mower leaves ruts.
What if something on my property gets damaged?
We are insured, and we take care of it. We are careful around irrigation heads, lighting, pets, and beds, but if we cause damage we make it right. Tell us right away and we handle it.
How soon can you start?
Recurring lawn service in Greenville and the close-in areas can usually start within the same week. Seasonal projects like mulch, aeration, and cleanups are scheduled based on the time of year and current workload.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. If we miss something, call or text within 48 hours and we come back and fix it at no charge. And because you get a flat price up front, there are no surprise charges at the end.
Seasonal and service questions
Why does my fescue lawn need fall aeration?
Our Upstate clay compacts hard over the summer, which chokes the roots and keeps water from soaking in. Core aeration opens the soil back up, and doing it in fall lets you overseed at the one time of year fescue actually establishes here. Skip it and a fescue lawn keeps thinning.
When is the best time to mulch in South Carolina?
Early spring, March into April. Mulching before summer locks moisture into the soil ahead of the heat and keeps the beds looking clean all season. A light fall refresh is optional and mostly cosmetic.
When is the best time to trim bushes in South Carolina?
Late winter, February into early March, for most shrubs and trees, because they are dormant and the structure is easy to read. Prune spring bloomers like azaleas and forsythia right after they finish flowering so you do not cut off next year’s buds.
